Often times rebooting your device will solve many problems as it will update your phone's configuration.

Step-by-step guide

In the NocTel Web interface

  1. Go to your control panel.
  2. Click on extensions.
  3. Search for your extension in the searchbox in the upper right.
  4. Open your extension.
  5. Click on Reboot device at the top of the extension menus. 
  6. If you do not see the Reboot Device option, please check that the device is a Polycom and that your extension is set as Polycom and not some other device type.
  7. Make sure you can view the management dropdown by clicking on the gear.
  8. Then look at preferences to see the device type. If it needs to be corrected you can make adjustments by selecting Polycom from the dropdown.
